We can't emphasize these problems enough. When you're shopping for a Tiny Home or other structure make sure you ask how our competitors are addressing the issue. A good example would be to ask how they are addressing Vapor Drive (Where condensation forms in walls and ceilings).
The minimal right answer is to follow the building codes. The better answer is an understanding of this natural phenomenon, how main land building codes fail to address it for Hawaii and why older buildings last longer and how we can now combine new Building Science with Vernacular design, to create lasting, healthy indoor environments.
